b) After receiving the request, Client sends the authentication beginning
message to server;
c) server sends the authentication reply message, requesting for the
user name;
d) Client asks user for user name.
e) The user keys in the login user name;
f) After receiving the user name, Client sends the authentication
continue message including user name to server;
g) server sends authentication reply message, requesting for login
password;
h) Client receives the login password;
i) The user keys in the login password;
j) After receiving the login password, Client sends authentication
continue message including login password to server;
k) server sends authentication reply message, indicating that user has
been authenticated.
2. Authorization process includes:
a) Client sends authorization request message to server.
b) server sends authorization reply message, indicating that user has been
authenticated;
c) Client receives successful authorization reply message, outputting the
configuration interface of switch to the user.
3. Accounting process includes:
a) Client sends the accounting beginning message to server;
b) server sends accounting beginning reply message, indicating that it has
received the accounting beginning message;
c) The user exits;
d) Client sends the accounting end message to server;
e) server sends accounting end reply message, indicating that it has
received the accounting end message.
Configuration Task
The following tasks must be executed before configuring on the network
device:
