Hardware Installation and Reference Guide
Router Installation
4) Drive the control module into the router host and then turn the wrench on the barrier clockwise till the control
module is in close contact with the front panel of the host.
5) Tighten the fastening screw on the control module.
Before installing the control module, make sure that all power supply connected to the router is switched
off. Otherwise, electric shock or damage to the router may result.
In Steps 3 and 4 be careful and insert the control module gently and smoothly. If you find the module hard
to drive, never drive it hard. Instead remove it and check whether it is flush with the edge of the opening of
the rear panel. If it is, continue the operation. Otherwise the module may be damaged.
Removing Router Control Module
1)
Switch off the router.
2)
Place the router in such a way that you face the front panel of its host.
3)
Unplug the interface cable on the control module to be removed.
4)
Remove the fastening screws at either side of the control module with a cross screwdriver.
5)
Turn the spanner on the control module clockwise you're your hands till it is separate from the host cabinet. Then
pull the module outward till it is completely separate from the host.
When removing the control module of the router, make sure that:
When you have removed the module and are not going to install another one, install an empty barrier in
to time to protect it against dust.
When removing the control module, keep a distance from the aisle of the workshop to prevent the
removed module from being knocked off or accident caused by collision.
Installing Power Cable and Grounding Cable
Ruijie families of routers support this AC power supply.
AC: 100–240V 50/60Hz
Make sure that your power supply meets the requirement.
The router uses three-wire power cable. It is recommended using single-phase three-wire power socket or
multi-functional microcomputer socket with neutral-point connector. The neutral-point needs to be grounded safely.
Check whether the power supply in your building is grounded correctly.
