3. Cooking with the RÖSLE kettle grill
3.1 Preparing the grill

Open.all.dampers.and.the.lid.before.lighting.the.fire.

Tip: Remove.accumulated.ash.as.required.from.the.bottom.part.of.the.grill.(only.after.the.coals.are.completely.
extinguished)..Charcoal.requires.oxygen.to.burn..Check.that.the.vents.are.free.of.dirt.

Place.the.grill.lighters.on.the.charcoal.grate.and.light.them.(Only.use.firelighters.that.comply.with.EN.1860-3!)

Do.not.begin.grilling.until.the.coals.are.covered.with.a.light.layer.of.ash..This.takes.about.30.–.45.minutes..Then.
arrange.the.coals.using.long.tongs.or.coal.rake.according.to.the.desired.method.of.grilling.
Tip:.For.an.extra.smoked.flavour.you.can.add.smoke.chips.or.fresh.herbs.such.as.Rosemary,.Thyme.or.Bay.Leaves.
