Operation preparation

UMS100/120/120 System Manual

Now open the

Communication

window and enter the following parameters:

•

The parameters for the LAN/WAN connection to be configured

•

The parameters for the dial-up connection via e.g. GSM or CDMA (UMS120)

It is recommended that also these details are entered in case a wireless connection is necessary in the
future. But they can also be entered at a later date.

CAUTION

If you click on <Submit> once you have entered a new

IP Address

,

Subnet Mask

and

Default Gateway

(only necessary with a router), the data is sent and a connection cannot

be kept open because the UMS100/120 is now only available via the new address
(https://<new address>).

If you want to open the service tool again, put the IP address as well as the Subnet mask of the service
or control PC into the new address range of the UMS100/120. Then connect to the Service Tool using
the new IP address.
