Poppet Valve Removal

2 0 0 ( A 2 ) & 4 0 0 ( B 1 ) H o u r S e r v i c e

P o p p e t V a l v e R e m o v a l

Clamp the upper post into a bench vise and Park Tool® AV-5 vise
inserts.

Remove the poppet cover retaining ring.

Thread the RockShox® Bleed syringe fitting into the poppet cover. Pull
the poppet cover out of the post head with the syringe fitting.
Unthread the poppet cover from the syringe.
Clean the poppet cover with isopropyl alcohol and set it aside.
