5. Position the Trac‐It unit in a hidden place. We advise you not to place the unit under any metal
surfaces as this will impede the ability of the unit to acquire a GPS signal. Once you have
attached the unit, plug in the wiring loom. Please see ‘Advice on fitting the Trac‐It unit for more
information.
Step 4
The Trac‐It customer must now register the unit with Road Angel, via our website at
www.roadangelgroup.com. They need to click on ‘Registration’ on the top menu bar and follow the
prompts. By registering with us, this will enable the customer to manage all aspects of their Road
Angel account, including adding or amending subscriptions for their Trac‐It product, and will also set‐
up their Trac‐It (tracking) portal at the same time. The customer must have their Trac‐It information
card to hand, as they will need it throughout this process.
Once set‐up, the customer can access their Trac‐It portal via their account homepage, where it says
‘Launch tracking portal’.

6. To ensure the unit is working correctly and ‘talking’ to the Trac‐It computer servers, please log
onto http://install.roadangelgroup.com and follow the prompts. This is an installation wizard
that will ensure the Trac‐It unit is functioning correctly
