Updating details of your tracked items
The details of the item being tracked (such as make, model and the picture shown on the map) can be
edited by clicking on ‘Edit Details’ within the information box for that item (hover over the icon to
make this box pop‐up). Number 9 on the Trac‐It portal overview (above) shows where the ‘Edit
Details’ option is.
Once you have selected ‘Edit Details’, you will have options to change your tracked items’ name,
picture and also how you wish Trac‐It to be triggered (i.e. if you wish to be alerted if it moves outside
a Security Fence, or as soon as it is moved at all by selecting ‘Movement’).
Figure 1.3 shows the Details options.
