WARNINGS
(1)
It is extremely dangerous to open the door of the spectrometer section and insert your hand or head
while the goniometer is operating. Open the door only after confirming that the goniometer is stopped.
(2)
Do not under any circumstances attempt to modify this equipment.
(3)
Do not remove the shutter.
(4)
When replacing any electric part, such as a fuse or the like, be sure to turn off the power first.
(5)
The detectors are under high voltage. To replace them, disconnect the cables after switching off the
controller.
(6)
The I
0
-detector employs a thin Beryllium window. Exercise caution, as it may be broken if touched by
hand or struck by a sharp object. Moreover, part of the gas-introduction port pipe is installed in the
head section of the I
0
-detector. If force is applied to that section, the gas inside may leak out, disabling
the counting performed by the detector. Exercise extreme caution when handling the detector.
Rigaku Corporation has made every possible effort to ensure safety. Nonetheless, it cannot be held liable
for any accident arising from erroneous use of the equipment.
