WARRANTY
The warranty period for this equipment will be one year after acceptance by the customer (excluding
consumables such as filaments). However, if acceptance by the customer is delayed due to minor
irregularities involved with the operation test or ancillary parts of the equipment, the warranty period will
be counted from the moment at which the equipment is actually put to essential use.
The following problems will be out of the scope of the warranty:
(1)
Those caused by fire or natural disaster
(2)
Those caused by failure to use the equipment as stipulated in the contract (equipment used for a
purpose other than that specified)
(3)
Those caused by modification of the equipment without the consent of Rigaku Corporation
(4)
Those caused by installation conditions that differ substantially from those specified
(5)
Those caused by a grave error (including malfunctions caused by erroneous operations) or intentionally
by the operator or a third party
(6)
Those caused by wear and tear on the consumables or the completion of the service life of the parts
