# Notes on inspecting and replacing the active carbon filter

Underside

To remove an active carbon filter, tap it on the side and tilt or turn it upwards.

➢

Ensure correct positioning when inserting the active carbon filters in the mounting recesses.

Application tip

The period of use of the active carbon filter depends on the type of vapour and the amount
of grease. Criteria include odours without any clear cause, which may indicate that the filter
is used up.

►

We recommend completely replacing the active carbon filter

after at least

500 hours of operation

►

Used active carbon filters must be disposed of with domestic waste.
