8.1
Safety information relating to cleaning, maintenance and care
Avoid dangers due to electricity
WARNING
Danger of electric shock. Risk of death.

Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before carrying out repair and
maintenance work; Do this by unplugging the power plug.

Protect the appliance against moisture. Never direct a jet of water at electrical
components such as heater, controller or ventilation grille.

Do not use a steam cleaning unit to clean electrical appliances. Doing so may allow
moisture to get into the electrical system and cause a short circuit. Do not expose to
spray water. Wipe electrical parts with a moist cloth only and dry the surface using a
dry cloth.

Have electrical equipment inspected by a qualified electrician in accordance with
DGUV. Define the inspection cycle according to the conditions of use. Generally this
is every 12 months.
Risks due to human error
WARNING
Breathing difficulties, lacrimal irritation, mucosal irritations in throat, neck and lungs,
headache, strong tickle in the throat, cannot be excluded in the case of human error.

Only use with Eisfink active carbon filters, which are correctly mounted.

Do not interfere with the extraction and circulating-air cleaning: Do not place any
objects on the Eisfink active carbon filter in the technical compartment. Only operate
with a dry Eisfink active carbon filter.
►
Cleaning, maintenance and care may only be carried out by appropriately trained
and authorised operating personnel.
