Condition Cause Solution and reference
The machine resets or
shutdowns occur
frequently. The power cord is not
plugged into the outlet
correctly. Power off the machine, confirm that the
power cord is plugged in correctly to the
machine and the outlet, then power on the
machine.
A system error occurred. Power off the machine, then power on
again.
If the problem persists, consult your service
representative.
The machine is connected to
an uninterruptible power
supply. Power off the machine, then connect the
power cord to a suitable outlet.
The machine is connected to
a power strip shared with
other high-power devices. Plug the machine directly into the outlet or
into a power strip that is not shared with
other devices.

Manager NX, an
incorrect password error
is displayed even when
you enter the correct
login user name and
password. A certificate is not installed
on the computer when
SSL/TLS is enabled on the
machine. Install the certificate on the computer.
Consult your network administrator for the
certificate.
An item other than [Simple
Encryption] is specified in
"Driver Encryption Key:
Encryption Strength". Specify [Simple Encryption] in "Driver
Encryption Key: Encryption Strength" in
[Settings] [System Settings] [Settings
for Administrator] [Security]
[Extended Security Settings].
