6.2.4 BOARD STRUCTURE 

Overview 

 

 
 
 
The ECB (Engine Control Board) controls all mechanical components. The 
IEEE1394 interface board, IEEE802.11b wireless LAN board, Bluetooth wireless 
interface board memory DIMM, the HDD and User Account Enhancement Unit can 
be installed on the main control board. 
Only one of the IEEE1394 interface board, IEEE802.11b wireless LAN board, and 
Bluetooth wireless interface can be installed. If any of these are installed, the 
USB2.0 board must be removed. 
The main control board (controller) connects to the ECB through the video interface 
bus.
