5.4- Operation
WARNING!
The equipment can become hot during operation, contact with the engine housing,
muffler vents or exhaust gases could result in serious burns and/or ignite
combustible materials.
Before starting the equipment
•
Check your equipment before starting the engine.

Check the integrity of the equipment and signs of damage

Ensure all screws, bolts and knobs are tightened

Ensure protective and safety devices are properly assembled and in good condition

Check fuel level

Check air filter
•
Make sure sufficient lighting and ventilation in working area.
During operation
•
Start the blower.
•
Put the blower on your back and adjust the shoulder pad to a comfortable position.
•
Always use the throttle control handle in your right hand.
•
To avoid scattering of debris, blow around the outer edges of a debris pile. Never blow
directly into the centre of a pile.
After operation
•
Stop the blower.
•
Clean up the debris pile.
•
Clean the equipment and accessories according to Section VI.
•
Store the equipment away from children.
Tips
•
Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing.
•
Watch out for children, pets, open windows, or freshly washed cars.
•
Avoid operation in the morning or late at night when people might be disturbed.
•
In dusty conditions, slightly dampen surfaces when water is available.
VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
WARNING!
Before any intervention on product, ensure the engine is stopped and cooled down.
Besides, disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug to prevent accidental
engine starting.

Use genuine parts only.
Reminder: In order to maintain the machine in good working condition, carry out regular
maintenance of the machine after each use and before storage. Any breach or inadequate
maintenance reduces the life of the machine and increases the risk of breakdowns and accidents.
