WARNING!
Turn off and cool down the engine before removing the fuel tank cap.
WARNING!
Gasoline is an extremely flammable fuel. Keep clear of open flames. Do not spill
any fuel. Do not smoke.
WARNING!
Always mix and refuel in a well ventillated area.
5.3- Start/Stop the engine
Cold starting the engine
•
Press the primer pump (c) until the fuel runs out
of the clear tube.
•
Set the choke (b) to “
CLOSE
” position.
•
Set the start/stop switch (9) (on control handle)
to the “
START
” position.
•
Rest the machine on clean and stable ground.
Firmly grip the handle (1) with one hand, then
grip the starter handle (a) and slowly pull until
resistance is felt, then pull straight out rapidly.
•
Allow the rope to rewind slowly and if
necessary, repeat this procedure until the engine
starts.
•
When the engine is started, set the choke to
“
OPEN
” position gradually.

” position.

START
” position.

Rest the machine on stable ground. Firmly grip the handle (1) with one hand, then grip the
starter handle (a) with another hand and slowly pull until resistance is felt, then pull straight
out rapidly.
•
Allow the rope to rewind slowly and if necessary, repeat this procedure until the engine
starts.
Stopping the engine
•
Release the throttle trigger (10) and allow the engine to run at idling speed for 30
seconds.
•
Set the start/stop switch (9) (on control handle) to the “
STOP
” position.
