Activate/deactivate Trails and set trail length

Trails are activated by setting ‘TRAIL TIME’ from Off to available time
values.



Click the arrow buttons or click the centre button, which open the next

following options.



Click the needed time.

Following time length can be set by clicking right or left arrow:

OFF - 15, 30, 45 seconds and 1, 2, 3, 6, 9 and12 minutes.

Trail length depends on ship speed and set TRAIL TIME.
Deactivation is made by setting ‘TRAIL TIME’ to Off.

Note:

If radar range will be changed, the shown trail length is always adapted accordingly.

Note:

Actual trail length only can be shown for the elapsed time after switching radar to Transmit. If for

instance elapsed time is less than 1 minute, a maximum of 1 minute trail time length will be shown. A
selected longer trail time will be shown yellow coloured. It changes to black, as soon the trail length time is
reached. – If a trail time of 6 minutes is set, the yellow shown time changes to black earliest 6 minutes after
switching radar to Transmit.

Trail Mode can be Relative or True. The activated mode is shown by the letters ‘T’ or ‘REL’ on buttons. To
change:



Click [T TRAILS] resp. [REL TRAILS] to popup a window.



Click the needed mode, ‘T’ or ‘R’.

Note:

When switching between Relative and True trails, the selected vector mode is maintained.

Restart Trails

To restart trail indication:



Click [T TRAILS] resp. [REL TRAILS] to popup a window.



Click [RESET]

Shown trails will be deleted and the trail drawing starts new from reset position.
