If you do not have the expertise required for installation, do not connect and
install the device yourself but ask a specialist.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is prohibited
for safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children! There
is the risk of a potentially fatal electric shock.
• The product must only be operated with mains voltage (see "Technical Data").
Never try to operate the product with any other voltage. This would destroy
it.
• A device for all-pin separation from the mains voltage must be provided on
the installation side (e.g. FI circuit breaker).
• The product must only be installed and operated in dry, closed inner rooms;
it must not get moist or wet. There is the risk of a potentially fatal electric
shock!
• The product must only be installed and operated stationarily. Never install or
operate it in vehicles.
• Do not install the product near a dimmer.
• Do not use the product inside of rooms or in bad ambient conditions where
flammable gases, vapours or explosive dust may be or are present! There is
a danger of explosion!
• If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must
be turned off and precautions are to be taken to ensure that it is not used
unintentionally. Then have the product inspected by a specialist.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the product is visibly damaged
- the product does not work or not work properly (flickering light, smoke or
burnt smell, audible crackling, discolouration of the product or adjacent
surfaces)
- the product has been stored under unfavourable conditions for an extended
period of time
- it has been subjected to severe stress during transport
