d) Programming for Automatic Mode
In automatic mode, you can set different temperatures each for four periods (for basic
setting, see chapter 9. e).
The four periods are marked with a symbol in the display:
• Symbol "
" (4) = Wake-up/day (e.g. from 06:00 AM onwards)
• Symbol "
" (5) = Absence (e.g. from 08:00 AM onwards)
• Symbol "
" (6) = Return (e.g. from 04:00 PM onwards)
• Symbol "
" (7) = Night (e.g. from 10:00 PM onwards)
From the respective programmed time onwards, the thermostat will try to maintain the
set temperature. It will switch the connected heating on and off automatically for this.
If a period is to remain unused (e.g. if you only want to use the day programme
" " and the night programme " "), just set the same temperature for the
starting time of the period you are not using as for the previous programme.
Important!
Of course, the start time for the unused period always must be set to a time
that is between the starting times used.
Example:
" " Starting time 05:00 AM at 22 °C
" " Starting time 10:00 PM at 17 °C
For the starting time that is not needed, "
", set, e.g., 06:00 AM and 22 °C, for the starting
time "
", set, e.g., 07:00 AM and 22 °C.
This way, the room thermostat will maintain a temperature of 22 °C from 05:00 AM to
10:00 PM, and a temperature of 17 °C from 10:00 PM to 05:00 AM.
If the room thermostat is to maintain only one single fixed temperature (e.g.
permanently 22 °C), set the same temperature for all 4 starting times. The time
setting is not relevant in this case, of course.
