TROUBLESHOOTING

ALL WORK MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY A LICENSED, QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN

It is critical that this appliance is earthed and that the Active and Neutral are not crossed.

SYMPTOM

CAUSE

SOLUTION

Unit does not operate
(no ignition, no fans)

No power supply (240V) to unit or control box Check 240V power supply

Unit will not operate using remote control, but
OK using manual control

Remote control not tuned into unit

Tune remote control into unit

Unit goes through ignition cycle but pilot light
does not ignite

No gas to unit or fitting line has not been purged Check gas supply or purge fitting line

Pilot light ignites but main burner does not
ignite, igniter continues to spark for 30 sec-
ondes then goes to lockout

Crossed polarity or faulty sensor lead/ circuit

Faulty extension lead or power board

Check polarity at power point connection into
heater and control box

Remove or replace extension lead or power
board

Unit ignites, main burner becomes unstable,
flame lifts off burner, unit goes into lockout
