An optional framing kit is available for the GF1500LST.
Note: There are diff erent confi gurations for horizontal exit venting vs vertical
exit venting and options in the framing width to accommodate various thick-
nesses of fi nishing materials.
Determine your installation prior to assembly of this frame kit.
Prior to assembling the framing kit, determine the overall thickness of the
non combustible material plus fi nishing material. Framing must be 516mm
minus the overall non combustible/fi nishing material.
Example= 51mm of fi nishing material per side = 414mm framing width.
1 . Assemble the 2 (two) vertical ends ( V ) (of the framing kit by securing hori-
zontal studs ( H ) with 4 (four) screws securing each stud–two on each side.
The horizontal studs ( H ) are adjustable in 12mm increments to accommo-
date fi nishing materials - determine the thickness of the fi nishing materials
before securing the horizontal studs (H) .
OPTIONAL FRAMING KIT
2 Install the 2 long horizontal studs, secure with 2 screws on each end.
3. Install 3 top horizontal studs with 2 screws on each side.
