Exchange of batteries
The battery compartment is at the bottom side of the printer. The cover can be opened easily by using a coin
pressing against the right side of the cover (see picture below).
The 7 pin battery connector is accessable through the window in the bottom of the battery compartment. By
pulling carefully at the battery cable the connector unplugs from the socket. The connector of the new battery
pack can be placed into the socked by using a needle or long nose pliers.
The used batteries shall never be disposed in normal garbage.
The old batteries shall be disposed for recycling or into a hazardous waste site in accordance the local
environmental regulations.

The REA TD-GPT-U is secured against usual operating errors. A risk for mayor damages and battery explosion
is there if using incorrect battery types, a short circuit, manipulations at the battery, or temperatures above 80 °C.
