ST70+ User Reference Manual

Changing vessel type

The vessel type is set correctly during commissioning and should not need to be
changed unless ST70+ is moved to another boat. Any change to the vessel type is
applied across the entire ST70+ system.

To change the vessel type:
1. At a convenient ST70+ keypad use the Select Display button to select a conve-

nient display, then press

MENU

to display the

Main menu.

2. Scroll to

Advanced options

then press

to display the

Advanced options

menu.

3. Scroll to select the

Vessel type

option, then

press

to display the

Vessel type

menu.

4. Scroll to select the vessel type you want.
5. Press

to confirm the selection.

6. Press

CANCEL

to return to the

Advanced

options

menu.

7. Press

CANCEL

to return to the

Main

menu

8. Press

CANCEL

to return to your operational

page or pilot view.

Change time/date format

To change the time or date format:
1. At a convenient ST70+ keypad use the Select Display button to select a conve-

nient display, then press

MENU

to display the

Main menu.

2. Scroll to

Display settings

then press

to display the

Display settings

menu.

3. Scroll to select the

Time & date

option, then press

to display the

Time & date

menu. This shows the current values applied to your ST70+ system.

Note:

If your instrument is not receiving GPS information, time and date information are not available.

4. Press

to display the

Time & Date

setup menu.

5. Carry out the

Setting date format

and/or

Setting time format

as required.

WARNING: Take care when changing vessel type
Changing the vessel type will also change other associated

parameters. These changes may lead to unexpected handling

characteristics.
