4.7 Fold boom in/out
4.7.1 Extending the boom

Call up the Main menu > Boom folding menu.

11. Press the Raise boom function key for at least 5 seconds.
 Open the transport locks on the left and right.
 The boom is raised in the top position.

WARNING
Risk of injury when extending and retracting the boom
The booms can injure people and cause material damage when
extending and retracting. In particular, make sure that the booms
also take up space behind the machine.
 Operate the boom only if there is sufficient free space
around the spreader.
 Only extend or retract the booms when the boom mineral
fertiliser spreader is attached.
 Make sure everybody leaves the danger zone.
NOTICE
If you interrupt the long press, the Lower boom symbol appears.

If necessary, press the lower boom function key
-
The boom is lowered.
- Close the transport locks.

If there is no obstacle in the extension area of the boom, press the raise
boom key again for at least 5 seconds.
- The extension process continues.
