Link Management – Setings

IP health check

– this feature is prepared for switching between profiles or lines. MG102 is

checking availability of Monitored host 1 (optionaly 2). If the host (hosts) is (are) not reachable the
second profile (link) will be switched to.

Note

This functionality has a close relationship with Connection Supervisor.

Description

Parameter

The required signal strength for GSM/UMTS in order to qualify the link as a fallback
alternative.

Mobile:

The required signal strength for WLAN in order to qualify the link as a fallback al-
ternative.

WLAN:*

Specify whether the Signal strength LEDs on the MG102 front panel shall indicate
the WLAN or mobile signal strength.

Signal strength

LED shows:

Note

WLAN is available only with relevant HW.
IP health check option is not used at M!DGE.
