9.1.2 Adjusting the overlap
The lateral overlap (
W
) of the disc coulter
(

) is factory-set to approximately 5 - 6 cm.
Adjustment:
Undo the bolts (

).
Adjust the disc coulter (
1
) to
the required width.
Tighten the bolts.

9.1.3 Adjusting the cutting angle
The cutting angle of the disc coulter (
1
) can
be adjusted by twisting the rotating axle/
eccentric axle (
5
).
Adjustment:
Undo the fixing bolt (
6
).
Adjust the disc coulter to the required
angle by twisting the eccentric axle (
5
).
Tighten the
fixing bolt.

9.1.4 Adjusting the limit switch of the swing arm
The side swing of the disc coulter (
1
) is
limited by the adjusting ring (
7
).
After setting the overlap or cutting angle,
check that the disc coulter is able to turn
to the direction of travel.
Adjustment:
Undo the clamping bolt (
8
) of
the adjusting ring.
Twist the adjusting ring until the swing arm
is able to turn to the direction of travel.
Tighten the clamping bolt.
NOtE
Adjusting rings must be firmly
tightened - bear in mind
the tightening torque
(see Chapter 16. on page 80).
In combination with the skimmers,
adjust the locking ring so that the
disc coulter cannot rub.
