7.2.3 Camera and Light Connector

In Figure 3, the Camera and Light connection are shown. The camera adapter has a magnetic lock
mechanism that eases the connection. The Ring light or the Laparoscope adapter can be connected to
the Quest Spectrum

®

. Make sure the adapter is in the locked position:

7.2.4 Connecting Ring Light or Laparoscope to the Camera

Depending on the procedure a laparoscope or ring light needs to be attached to the camera. The fully
assembled camera consists of two parts: the camera & the ring light/laparoscope. When assembling,
make sure that the three pins on the ring light/laparoscope fit into the camera.
