Instructions for Use

Focus

The camera can be focused manually by using the following options:

•

By using the

camera (see chapter 8.2 “using the camera”)

•

By using the touchpad of the IPC

When focusing, the icon will be set to MF (Manual Focus), when done this
will be set to the other icon.

Using the touchpad to focus

Select the icon on the touchpad of the IPC (see the first image on the left).
When selected, the icon will transform into an icon as shown on the left.
Focusing can be done by selecting the arrows on the side. When done
focusing, select the icon again and it will transform back into his previous
form.

Mode

When starting surgery, the correct mode needs to be selected otherwise
no fluorescent overlay can be seen. There are two modes:

•

Green icon: the 800 nm channel (supports the use of ICG)

•

Blue icon: the 700 nm channel

It is important to know what kind of fluorescence is used before starting
surgery in order for the correct mode to be selected.

Note:

Only the ICG mode is activated for USA
purposes.

Sensitivity

The sensitivity can be increased by use of this function. When unable to
clearly visualise the fluorescence during the procedure, this setting can
be

adjusted

to

improve

the

device’s

sensitivity.

The sensitivity has three different modes, the arrow represents the
sensitivity of the device within tissue, by increasing the sensitivity the
arrow “penetrates” deeper through the tissue to symbolise the increase of
the sensitivity

Note:

Consequently, when increasing the
sensitivity,

the

real-time

behavior

decreases

and

the

image

noise

increases. This may possibly result in a
lower quality image.
