Lift the robot up and insert the “mushroom button” into the big hole of the loader bracket (see “insertion
point” in
Figure 24
). Slide the robot back slightly until it hangs freely (not all the way back).
Training Note
: It's important that you let the robot hang free. Gravity will help align the robot
into the proper orientation.

If possible, check the pin position in the X preload tensioner to be sure the pin is still in the hole and has
not disengaged.
If the pin has dropped out, carefully remove the robot from the library and return to
Step
5
on page 44. (If a left side cover is installed, you may not be able to check this.)
Note
The mushroom button appears “loose” and wobbles slightly. This is normal.
