The
Serial Number Menu
includes the following options:
•
Display All Numbers
- Displays all serial numbers associated with
the hardware components of the DXi6902 system.
•
Display System Serial Number
- Displays the overall system serial
number for the entire DXi6902 system.
•
Display Node Serial Number
- Displays the serial number of the
Node.
Note: The Node serial number matches the Dell Service Tag.
• Display OUI Number - Displays the OUI (Organizational Unique
Identifier) number for the DXi6902 system.
• Set All Numbers - Sets all serial and OUI numbers for the entire
DXi6902 system.
• Set System Serial Number - Sets the overall system serial number
for the entire DXi6902 system.
• Set OUI Number - Sets the OUI (Organizational Unique Identifier)
number for the DXi6902 system.
• Fake Engineering Numbers - Allows Quantum Engineering to
generate random numbers for engineering and test purposes. Do
not use these options in the field.
Install Application
Software Menu
The Install Application Software Menu allows you to install the
DXi6902 system software. For more information on installing the system
software, see the
DXi-Series Software Installation and Upgrade Guide
(6-67321).
