Removing and replacing the processor and heatsink in the Node

Identifying a Failed Processor and Heatsink

The DXi6902 Node contains two processors (CPUs), and each is covered

by a heatsink to dissipate heat.
To identify a failed processor and heatsink:

Access the remote management console (see

Accessing Remote

Management

on page 23).

Navigate to the

Status > Hardware > Details > System Board

page.

Note the status of

CPU1

and

CPU2
