Replacement and maintenance of encoder battery

The encoder is equipped with a 3.6 V disposable Li-SOCl2 battery with a normal

voltage of not less than 3.6 V.

The encoder battery is located in the base of the robot. To replace it, the back panel

and side door of the base need to be removed. The position of the encoder battery is

shown in Figure 5-6.


