Utilisation
Installing the rear light
In trailer mode, a certified rear light must be used during poor visibility or darkness in accordance
with the Road Traffic Licensing Requirements.

Move the push handle to the highest position.
»
Mount the rear light on the left side between the star
knob screw and the bend joint of the push handle.
Tip!
Follow the attached manufacturer's information for the work of the rear light.
Below you will find all the information for adapting the to the required modes and to allow you to
use all the convenience functions.
Applying the hand parking brake
Danger!
Always secure the Speedkid when stationary against rolling away by applying the
parking brake. Also remember to release it in good time before driving off.

Stand behind the cabin.
»
Push the hand parking brake lever down.
»
The hand parking brake is firmly locked when the
brake lever has clicked at least twice.
»
Check whether the hand parking brake has been
activated.
»
If necessary, push the brake lever down a little further.
»
To release the brake, press the red button on the inside
of the hand parking brake with your thumb until it is fully
released and move the lever to the highest position.
Tip!
Use the supplied velcro straps to hold the brake cable in position within the
storage space.
Caution!
If the hand parking brake engages only once, the wheels are not locked and the
trailer can roll away.
Adjusting the push handle
Use the two pushbuttons to alter the height of the push handle. The push handle can be adjusted
to several heights.

Press both pushbuttons and keep them pressed in
order to release the height adjustment.

Swing the push handle to the desired height.
»
Release the two pushbuttons in order to activate the
engagement function.
»
Move the push handle slightly up or down until the
height adjustment engages audibly.

Buggy-Modus:
Using the

like a buggy

Jogger-Modus:
Carrying children in the
Speedkid
when walking
To ensure that the roll-over protection of the push
handle provides sufficient headroom, please ensure
that it is correctly positioned in trailer mode (see figure
opposite).
