USB-connection

A firmware update can be installed via the USB interface with a USB stick. In
addition inverter data can be transmitted to the USB stick for later use, e.g. to
process these in Excel.

CAUTION

The USB interface is not intended for connection to a PC.

Download the latest firmware archive

Insert a FAT32-formatted USB stick into the USB port of your computer

Copy the firmware archive onto the USB stick

4

Change the name of the firmware archive on the USB stick to
“Q3 ENERGIE_pv_firmware.bin”

Insert the USB stick into the USB port of the inverter

6

Select the sub-menu “Firmware Update” under the menu item “USB Stick”

7

The system will restart once the firmware has been updated

The USB interface is only available for internal service purposes for your installer
as far as inverters Q

Commissioning

Risk of damage to the product! During transport in cold weather or when the
product is exposed to extreme temperature changes, care must be taken that
no moisture or inside the device (condensation).
The product is to slowly adjust to room temperature before it is put into
operation. If condensation recognizable, the product must be switched on only
after a waiting period of about 12 hours.
