CAUTION

Where there are high ambient Temperatures, the Temperature on the surface
of the device housing may exceed 70°C.
Allow sufficient time for the device to cool down before touching it.

Earthing the PV inverter
The inverter may only be operated on earthed grids. Once the device has been
installed and commissioned, the earthed network point or neutral conductor
must not be disconnected.
The system must not be operated without a protective earth.

Earthing the PV generator
Pay attention to the local regulations for earthing the PV modules and the PV
substructure. Q3

ENERGIE

recommends combined connection and earthing of the

substructure and other conductive areas, in order to achieve the highest possible

protection for the system and for persons.

It is essential that you observe the sequence of the connection instructions in this
manual.

CAUTION

Do not remove the identification label or information sign affixed to the PV
inverter!

Lightning protection

If the building has external lightning protection, type 2 overvoltage

protection is compulsory at the AC and DC side and must be installed by

the customer.
If the building does not have external lightning protection, we recommend

that the customer installs type 2 overvoltage protection at the AC and DC

side.
