1 Intended Use
The DIAMENTOR E2 is a device for measurement
of the dose area product and the dose area product
rate in diagnostic radiology. It fulfills the require-
ments of IEC 60580.
The dose area product is measured with an ioniza-
tion chamber mounted directly to the light beam
diaphragm housing.
The DIAMENTOR E2 is a single channel micro-
processor-controlled measuring system.
The DIAMENTOR E2 is equipped with a serial con-
nector (socket SERIAL) to connect a label printer or
a PC.
This manual only describes the DIAMENTOR E2.
