Getting started

When you first use your netBook, you may wish to:

•

Use the

International

icon to change settings which may

vary from country to country, e.g. the currency and date

formats.

•

Use the

Switch on/off

icon to control how and when the

netBook switches on and off. For example, you might like it

to switch on when you tap the screen, and off when you

close the case.

•

Use the

Sound

icon to control the sounds that the netBook

makes when you press keys, tap the screen and perform

other actions.

•

Use the

Screen

icon to change the screen contrast and

brightness, or re-calibrate the touch sensitive screen if the

netBook stops responding to your pen taps.

•

Use the

Keyboard

icon to control how long you have to

hold a key down before a repeat keypress occurs.

•

Use the

Password

icon to set a password on your machine

or enter owner information.
