Reduced-power heating option
In some special instances it may be necessary to heat a bearing slowly (for example, in bearings with a brass cage,
where the brass cage heats up faster than the bearing). The reduced-power heating option slows down the heating
process to allow all bearing components to heat evenly. With this setting, it is also possible to heat bearings with
very limited clearance (C1 and C2 bearings).
Instructions
1. Press the “reduced-power” key to switch between full and reduced power.
2. Press the “reduced-power“ key. The digital display indicates 100%. Set the desired reduced-power setting
with the “Up” and “Down” keys. You can select between the power settings of 80%, 60%, 40% and 20%.
3. The reduced power setting is indicated by a flashing indicator LED next to the set operating mode.
