Description of operating modes and functions
The EDDYTHERM offers three different operating modes to accommodate a wide range of user requirements,
making it suitable for nearly any inductive heating task.
Three operating modes
1. Temperature selection with automatic shutoff
Set the desired temperature using the
/
arrow keys. The bearing is heated to this temperature. The
heater then shuts off automatically. See page 22.
2. Temperature selection with temperature hold
Set the desired temperature using the
/
arrow keys. The bearing is heated to this temperature. The
device does not shut off but holds the bearing at the desired temperature by continuously reheating it slightly
until it is needed. See page 23.
3. Time selection with automatic shutoff
Set the desired heating duration in seconds or minutes using the
/
arrow keys. The bearing is heated for
that length of time. The heater then shuts off automatically. See page 24.
