Configuring the Telephone

Settings on the Web Console

Basic settings of your SIP system telephone (e. g. display language, time 
zone) are set on the web console of the Forum 500 / Forum 5000 
communications system in the 

Configurator > Telephony > Devices > 

System phones

 menu.

The configuration of your telephone is either done by the system 
administrator or by yourself. In order to enable the telephone configuration 
for you, the system administrator must assign a service profile to your user 
group with the 

Change

 or 

Change-Peronal

 authorisation for the 

Telephony > Devices > System phones

 menu. 

The following settings are possible:

●

selecting the display language

●

setting of country-specific tones (e. g. dial tone)

●

time settings for the display

●

settings for automatic call answering

These settings are also possible via the main menu, see the 

Calls > Auto 

Call Answer.

setting of notification tones
