Configuration on the Web Console

Commissioning

SIP system telephones are configured via the Web console of the 
Forum 500 / Forum 5000 communications system. This chapter is for the 
system administrator of the communications system.

Configuration on the Web Console

Log in to the web console as a user with administrator rights.

1.

Open a web browser. Enter the IP address of the communications system 
into the “Address” input field. The default address is:

“http://192.168.99.254/”

2. User name

, 

Password

: Enter your user name and your password. The 

default access data for the system are:

User: Administrator

Password: [no existing password]

3.

Confirm via 

OK

.

4.

Open the 

Configurator > Telephony > Devices > VoIP Phones

 menu.

5.

In order to configure a new or to modify an already configured VoIP 
terminal:

– Click above the table of VoIP telephones on the 

New

 button

– or click, in the table column 

Ph.No.

, on the corresponding entry.
