Menus at Your SIP System Telephone

Connections

: This menu group provides you with all the features that can 

affect a call.

Phone book

: You can edit the system telephone books in this menu group.

Applications

: This menu group contains all functions offered by your system 

telephone in conjunction with additional programme packages of your 
communications system.

Central settings

: You can change your system settings here.

Using feature keys

Almost all features of the main menu can be assigned to your telephone’s 
feature keys then called up by pressing the key or by switching the function on 
or off (see chapter 

Programming Keys

 on page 84). 

Using the main menu

●

To access the main menu, your need to programme either a 

Main menu

 

feature key or a 

Status menu

 feature key on your telephone. By using 

these feature keys, you can call up the main menu if the telephone is in idle 
state (see chapter 

Programming Keys

 on page 84). 

●

You navigate the main menu with the navigation/selection key (see 
chapter 

Key Assignments

 on page 55). 

●

While operating the menu, view the telephone’s display.:

– On the Forum IPhone 5010 / Forum IPhone 5020 telephones, you 
change settings with the navigation keys visible on the display. 

– The display on the Forum IPhone 5030 telephone will show context-
dependent menu commands. You can activate these menu commands via 
the softkeys below the display.

You can close the main menu anytime with the  

 key. By using this key, 

unsaved configuration changes may be lost.
