Entrance Intercom Calls
Calling the Entrance Intercom
If an entrance intercom (e. g. of the “Doorphone” type) is connected to your
system, you can use this procedure to speak with a visitor.

The code procedure for calling the door intercom is determined by the system
administrator. Possible codes are:

Signal When the Handset Is on Hook …
H
Lift the handset.
●
If your system is connected to an entrance intercom, you can speak to your
visitor.
●
Otherwise you will hear a special door tone when you lift the handset.
Signal During a Call
G
If the doorbell signal is triggered during a call, you hear a call waiting tone.

Door Call Forwarding
You can forward calls signalled from the doorbell to another (internal or
external) call number, a so-called “pharmacy line”. This is done through the
2 Call forwarding
menu (see the section entitled
MenuCard “Call Forwarding”
starting on page 113).
Call Duration
All door calls are automatically terminated after a specific period has expired.
This ensures that forwarded door calls do not unintentionally lead to
continuous calls (e. g. to a mailbox).
