Configuration on the Web Console

Commissioning

Enter the data into the form. For entering the data, mind the information in
the online help. You open the context sensitive online help with the

Help

command in the top navigation bar.

Please also refer to the information given in the chapters

Confirm your entries with

Apply

Assign the SIP system telephone’s call number to a user (in the

User

manager > User

menu). Otherwise, your telephone is given the authorisa-

tions for the “Guests” user group and it may not be possible to make
external calls with the SIP system telephone.

Connect the SIP system telephone to the network (see also the chapter

Connecting to the Network

on page 22.

The SIP system telephone starts. Messages visible on the telephone’s display
will inform you about the start procedure’s progress.

Please note:

Do not disconnect the telephone from the network during
start-up!

MAC Address

When configuring the SIP system telephone, you may decide to enter or not to
enter the MAC address of the device (e. g. because you may not have the MAC
address at hand).
