Destination keys
114 Programming Keys
You will find operational information in the chapter Using Busy Keys on
page 165.
Status Keys
If your communications system has been extended via a third-party
programme, you can operate individual functions of this programme via what
are referred to as the status keys of your SIP system telephone. A status key is
thus a kind of special feature key.
For programming a status key, you need a key ID designated for controlling
programme functions. For details refer to the documentation of the
programme. While programming the status key, you need to enter this key ID
in the
CSTA key input box.
Destination keys
On a destination key, you store an (internal or external) call number. You can
dial call numbers assigned to keys by simply pressing the relevant key.
Please observe the following when entering an external call number:
● Enter the call number directly if external line seizure is automatic.
●
If external line seizure is manual, you must first key in the external line
seizure code digit (the default setting is 0).

Direct-call Keys
Only outgoing calls can be made with a direct-call key; they are signalled to
all terminals with the same number programmed to a trunk key. Calls via a
direct-call key are signalled to the destination terminal even if that terminal
has been programmed with a substitution function or call protection. If the
destination terminal has been configured for call diversion, the direct call is
not diverted.
