Main Menu

Menus at Your SIP System Telephone

ACD

: This menu entry is displayed if the

Forum ACD

application in your

communications system is activated and if you are an agent of one or
multiple ACD groups. If your system administrator has granted you the
corresponding authorisations, you can operate this application via this
menu entry. Please refer to the “Forum ACD” guide for detailed infor-
mation.

“Central settings” Menu Group

In the

Central settings

menu group you can define rules and settings for the

time management of your communications system. You can only access this
menu group if the system administrator has configured the required
authorisations for your user group.

Time control

: For the Forum 500 / Forum 5000 communications system

several time groups can be configured. Depending on the activated time
group, incoming calls are signalled on different terminals.

The

Time control

menu entry is displayed if the

Time control

authori-

sation has been granted for your user group by the system adminis-
trator.

Automatic

: Activates automatic time control. The configured time

groups then switch automatically according to the timetable
configured by the system administrator. This setting remains
active until one of the existing time groups is set manually.

Time group

: The time groups are either numbered (default setting) or

they have been given a name by the system administrator. You
can manually select a specific time group; the automatic time
control is then deactivated.

Note:

Any “MSN” call diversion always remains in effect – regardless of

the currently active time group.

Date / Time

: The date and time are taken over from the network operator on

the first external outgoing call. If this information is not transmitted by
your network operator, you can set the date and time here yourself.

The

Date / Time

menu entry is only available if the system adminis-

trator has assigned the

Expert

service profile to your user group.

Select the required entry (time or date) and confirm the selection.
Overwrite the current setting and confirm the entry. Select the

Save

entry and confirm the changed setting.
