Special Calls/Conversations

Telephoning

Prerequisites

In order for you to be able to use the caller history function, the system
administrator needs to make sure the following prerequisites are met:

●

A

Caller history

function key must be programmed on your telephone (in

the

Configurator

, menu

Telephony > Devices > System phones

).

●

The

Caller history

authorisation must be activated for your user group (in

the

Configurator

, menu

User manager > User groups

).

Operating the function

In idle mode, the function key is labelled with the text that was entered when
the key was programmed (e.g.

Caller history

).

When you receive an external call, the communications system checks
whether there is an existing entry in the caller history for the external call
number in question. If an entry already exists, the function key will display
which internal subscriber the caller was (last) connected to during their last
call.

Immediately transferring callers

The call is signalled on your telephone (call status). The LED
for the key flashes (Forum IPhone 5010/5020/5025/
5030). On the Forum IPhone 5040 telephone, the softkey
changes to yellow.

If you press the function key, the caller is transferred directly
to the (last) internal subscriber that they spoke to on their
last call. The call is not picked up on your system.

Connecting callers to a previous contact

You have picked up the call (call state). The LED for the key
illuminates (Forum IPhone 5010/5020/5025/5030). On
the Forum IPhone 5040 telephone, the softkey changes to
red.

If you press the function key, the list of calls for this caller is
opened (max. 10 list entries). Details of which internal
subscriber the caller (last) spoke to in the relevant telephone
call is displayed for each call.
