Close the door of the instrument and press the
Run button to start the selected method.
Once a method is started, you will be presented with a series of user interface screens. These
screens will request user input for various run-time variables (e.g., sample number, elution volume,
etc.) and will provide a detailed description of how to place the labware and samples needed on
the deck of the Maxprep™ Liquid Handler. More detailed information regarding the specifics of the
variables that need to be entered and the deck setup instructions for preprocessing, quantitation,
amplification and normalization can be found in the following Technical Manuals:
