6) Slide the rear cover to the top side.
7) Lift up the rear face and remove it
from the front face.
11) Insert the replacement backlight by
reversing the removal procedure.
Secure the replacement backlight
with the screws and insert the con-
nector to the inverter board.
8) Unscrew and remove the four attach-
ment screws securing the backlight.
• Use a “0” sized Phillips
screwdriver to remove
the backlight attachment
screws (4 screws).
• Be careful not to lose the
screws.
• Be careful when remov-
ing the screws so that
they do not fall inside the
PL, since they may cause
the unit to malfunction.
9) Remove the connector from the in-
verter board.
10) Lift up the backlight and slowly pull
the unit out of the PL.
