Loading Media And Ribbon

Verify that Print Mode is set for Transfer in the Print Mode submenu
located in the MEDIA CONTROL Main Configuration menu. See “Main
Menu” on page 79 for more information.

The printer is now ready to print.

Removing The Media Guide

Remove the media guide from the front door when using Tear-Off or Tear-Off
Strip media handling, because you will need to tear the label downward
against the tear bar.

1.

Open the front door by pulling it upward, then forward.

2.

Grasp the upper right corner of the media guide and pry it off of the top of
the front door.

3.

After removing the media guide, close the front door.

4.

Open the pivoting deck and load paper and ribbon normally (see “Loading
Media And Ribbon” on page 34.)
