SETTING UP
III
1. Verify that power switch located at the back left
side of the machine is Off (the ‘O’ side of the switch
should be depressed).
2. Remove the plastic wrapped Book Rest and 3
Cooling Rack Rests from the fl at box. Unwrap by
fi rst unfolding the side fl ap to your left, then fl ipping
the set over from left to right, removing each
exposed plastic piece along the way.
3. Install the gray Book Rest by inserting its tabs into
the two slots on top of the rear book clamp. Press it
straight down as far as it will go. Assemble the green
Cooling Rack Rests into the Cooling Rack Base in the
same manner – insert the rests in their respective
slots starting with the tallest Rests at the rear. (fi g. 4
and 5)
4. Install the Strip Guide by inserting its widest tab in
the rectangular slot at the lower right side of the
machine. Rotate the guide up until its magnet snaps
it in place. (fi g. 6)
5. Plug the Power Cord into the outlet on the back of
the machine, then connect to a standard, grounded
electrical outlet. Depress the ‘I’ side of the switch to
turn on the power. The green light in the lower front
should come on.
NOTE:
The cooling rack with its 3 rests is
removable by lifting the back end of its metal base
and then sliding the entire assembly forward.
CAUTION:
Internal parts can be extremely hot!
Do not open the machine unless you have read this
manual, and are prepared to follow all precautions.
